Getting started

What is a vault?

A vault is one collection — your whisky, your watches, your vinyl. Items live inside vaults, and each item carries its own photos, notes and ratings. You can keep as many vaults as you like.

How do I add my first item?

Open a vault → Add item → name it, photograph it, rate it.

Pick a template when you create a vault and Robbi pre-fills the fields that matter for that hobby — vintage and region for wine, movement and case size for watches. You can edit any of them afterwards.

Photos won't upload

Each photo has to be under 10 MB. If an upload stalls, check your connection and try again; nothing is lost if it fails. Robbi needs photo library access, which you can grant in iOS Settings → Robbi → Photos.

Privacy and sharing

How do I keep my collection private?

Robbi → Settings and privacy → Privacy → Private account

With a private account, people can still find you, but your vaults stay hidden until you accept their follow request. Individual vaults can also be made private on their own.

Someone is bothering me

Open their profile, tap the ⋯ button and choose Block. Blocking works both ways: they cannot see your profile, vaults, items or comments, and you will not see theirs.

How do I report something?

Accounts, vaults, items and comments all carry a Report action behind the ⋯ button. Every report reaches a real person, and we act on the ones that break our rules — usually within 24 hours. You can also email us directly.

Who can see my view counts?

Nobody, unless you turn on Show view counts in Privacy settings.

Your account

I forgot my password

Sign-in screen → Forgotten password → we email you a reset link.

Signed in already? Go to Settings and privacy → Account → Password, where you can set a new one or ask for a reset link.

I signed up with Apple or Google

Then there is no password to reset — just tap the same button you used the first time. Robbi never sees your Apple or Google password.

How do I turn notifications off?

Settings and privacy → Notifications → Allow notifications stops new notifications being created for you at all. iOS Settings → Robbi → Notifications controls whether they appear on your lock screen.

How do I delete my account?

Robbi → Settings and privacy → Delete account

This deletes your account, your vaults, your items and every photo you uploaded, for good. It happens straight away and it cannot be undone. If you would rather we did it for you, email contact@petalanoar.org from the address on the account.

Something isn't working

The app is stuck loading

Close Robbi fully and reopen it. If it persists, check whether other apps have a connection — Robbi needs one to reach your collections. Still stuck? Tell us your device, your iOS version and roughly when it started.

I'm not getting notifications

Check both switches: Allow notifications inside Robbi, and Robbi's entry in iOS Settings. If both are on and nothing arrives, write to us with your username.

How do I ask for a feature?

Send it to us. Robbi is small enough that good suggestions get built.
